Video is reasonably good. A little soft unless I'm just too used to BD rips nowadays. Audio is fine and appears to be in sync. Overall the quality is pretty decent.

As for the movie... I saw this at the cinema. I wasn't a huge fan of the others but this lacked the sense of "fun" that the others had.

Have to agree with Neversoft - this looks "soft" to me on my 24" LED pc screen, I won't bother watching it on the 60" - although I have seen MUCH nicer dvdrips, this is very watchable, but if you stick mainly to BR or BRrips this may not be for you. Audio seems fine (skipped thru whole release to check sync), and can't really say on the movie itself. I've liked the whole series so far, but will wait for a better release to check this one out...

Ok, so I broke down and couldn't wait - watched this on my 60" led, and have to revamp my previous scores. Perhaps it's my pc's vidcard, or the codecs I'm using, but this actually looked way better on my 60" led - ironically both my 24" led pc monitor and my 60" tv are samsung, and most things look just as good (or bad) on both screens, but for some reason, this looks way better on the tv. While I normally stick to br releases min 5GB @ 720p, this is actually a very nice release. I have still seen better dvdrips, but this is nowhere near as "soft" as I first thought it was as seen on my monitor. Being a fan of the series, this was not as good as the first 3, but I still enjoyed it. :)

To the folks flaming about which rls source is better (p2p vs scene), please take your flamewars elsewhere and just comment on the quality of the release based on its label/rip source - it's what this site is for, and why people like me come here - to get information on quality based on what people have actually watched, not to read arguments on who has the bigger epeen....
