Wondering if anyone has had this same issue recently that I have had. Running the newest version Greasemonkey in Firefox (v1.13 - Firefox v26.0) and Avast! Online Security v9.0.2011.70 (was running .2008 before trying an update earlier to see if the problem would be fixed...it wasn't) Tried 4 different user scripts for VCDQ.com adding the buttons for torrent and usenet search sites next to release names and none have worked giving me this script error chrome://wrc/content/common/scripts/bal.js:1172 and the choice of continuing or stopping the script neither of which actually work forcing me to close out Firefox. I believe the issue started when Avast updated to v9.xxx since I have been dealing with it for a couple of weeks. Only options are to either 1.) disable Greasemonkey (which I have) or 2.) disable Avast addon and try another one. With option 2 any suggestions for a solid online security addon for Firefox that plays nice with both Avast and Greasemonkey? Or has anyone come across this very same problem and found an acceptable fix?

I can't help with the Greasmonkey issue but why are you using that to add buttons already on the site? Just build the QSearch buttons for whatever sites you want to add to VCDQ :)

Too arse originally (and busy as fuck) to do it but sounds like a plan.

Have you fixed the issue with QSearch preferences being deleted when cookies expire?

The sites cookie *should* be set to expire some time between now and the heat death of the universe.
