Actually no, if we're deviating from "stock" I'd have a rooted Galaxy with a custom rom on it - one of those fancy overclocked ones with better power management etc. I dismissed jailbreaking and rooting to emphasise the locked-in nature of these phones - something which Apple excels at.

Phones are getting as bad as consoles. If you are insecure because of your phone I apologise... YOUR iPhone is better than all the other iPhones put together - the only reason I have an Android phone is because I'm punishing myself for past transgressions, I actually really envy you.
