Some of you have probably dropped by our IRC channel that is/was on EFNet since 2001. Well, that's changing! Grab yourself an IRC client and point your face at this:

Network: irc.link-net.org (give it chance to find a server)
Channel: #vcdq

So if you open mIRC (for example) simply type:

/server irc.link-net.org
/join #vcdq

This server rarely if EVER connects, so I don't even bother with it.

Edit: And YES I am putting .org.

Generally speaking it finds a server for me within a couple of minutes but I have to admit that it's finding FUCK ALL at the moment (although it might be my connection cos I can't reach a few sites either)

it takes me roughly 24 tries to connect but eventually i get through

Can't get on at all this morning. Admittedly it does say I need to install Identd so I keep getting banned.

Yeah, we all got kicked off overnight, looks like they've enabled "ident" across their entire network. All you need to do folks is enable Ident in your IRC client and make sure port 113 is unblocked on your firewall.

This site will check the status of Ident on your PC, save you fucking about in IRC until you have Ident setup right
