Last night my bro and I went to Mushroomhead at the Alrosa Villa which is a local place around here. Most of you probably remember that Dime had died in this club. In case you say to yourself I know that club, But can't place it.

Last nights show was one of the best I have ever seen. Mushroomhead put on a fan-fucking-tastic job. They never seize to amaze me. They played nothing but great music. There was a total of 7 or 8 bands, 4 local bands and 4 national bands including Mushroomhead.

I can't remember the locals names, They were ok. Not great but ok.

The national bands that you should check out are.

Black Flood Diesel which kicked some serious ass, I could not find there cd. There just now making a small name for themeselves.

As Summer dies, I swear I have heard of them before yesterday, But the bassist was a female, They were really good, I want to pick there cd somewhere.

psyclone nine which was really different. They put on a really good show, They were rather heavy but they were industrial. You can a few of there cd's without problem all over the place.

I wasn't about to get into the pit this time, I think I'm getting to old for that shit, and I'm to fat to mosh anymore.

So here is a shitty pic I took with my phone.

What shows are you planning on going to this year?

I am thinking about Ozzfest, because so far there is no mainstream shit going to be there, Lamb of god is on the main stage. and it's FREE.

My buddy wants to go to Rock on the Range, It's ALL mainstream shit, He likes all the bands, I like a couple bands, and ZZ top is going to be there, They are classic and great. So I wouldn't mind seeing them.

Never heard of any of those bands, from their names I am guessing its hard rock or close to metal????

Not my cup of tea but would listen to sample... Got one?

I found this for As summer dies, It's only clips of the song, So I think it's cool, If not delete it.

http://cdbaby.com/cd/assummerdies, LIstening to the samples, It's not bad, it's not fantastic either. But good enough to jam to. I bet if I heard the whole thing I would really enjoy it.

psyclops nine you can download on torrents any day of the week, I got two cd's quick.

Mushroomhead, I know you've heard of. That's the only group I ever talk about on this board.

I'm not sure if it was posted on this forum or not, i think it was though, A web site to tell if a group is assoiciated with RIAA.

I want to know if I should buy the music or download it.

I found this on youtube, This video is actually disturbing. lol.

Para they are actually better than I thought they would be.

Still, its all about the arctic monkeys for me. Best band since Oasis, not as good as Oasis... Yet.

Couldnt agree more!

Neways, this summer im gonna hope to catch Tool in hamilton (my hometown) at Copps, and i want to catch the Invaluable Darkness Tour (devildriver, dimmu borgir etc.), but i dont know if i can still get tickets. The major show i wanna catch, is the Manson and Slayer tour that kicks off in July, im not a huge fan of manson, but slayer live is just out of control. Other than that, im gonna catch some local shows that go on in my city. May 11, im gonna see threat signal (maybe you guys have heard of them because, they have a cd in HMV, quite an amazing band!). So yea that wraps up my summer concert itenerary.

psyclon nines awesome especially live.

i think i might stay home this summer, seeing how ozzfest kinda sucks this year, might go to an ozzfest offdate, if chthonic, behemoth and nile play on a date together, sounds of the undergrounds lineup this years horrible. ill most likely be at the lake ripping shit up on the jet skiis.

Amazing, the worst british band of the 90s and the worst british band of the 00s, together in one sentance at last!

(ok a lil harsh, the kaiser chiefs are probably the worst band of the 00s. u2 are just globally bad and thus don't count in decade slag offs)
