I'm also going to Spain this year, but not until late August, so I'm away for Reading/Leeds which has an amazing headline line up this year.

As a side note I saw and advert for a festival in Sweden in June. Check this for a line up. http://www.hultsfredsfestivalen.se/artister

Booked a ticket to see UK Subs and Anti Nowhere League in November. £15 for two nights at a local venue in Margate with a bunch of mates.

Fuck yeah. Mumford and sons in Bury St. Edmunds last night. Fucking brilliant gig. They played some of the new stuff they've written but they also played plenty of the first album. The crowd was a bit shit though. It was such a small venue (which was a real bonus) and the tickets were in such high demand, you would have thought the crowd would have been fairly ardent fans, but the place only really lit up to the two most popular songs (Little Lion Man and The Cave), and I was surrounded by people who either obviously didn't know any other songs or just were miserable fuckers. A real shame, because if the tickets had gone to 750 real fans I think it would probably have been te best gig I'd ever been to.

At the risk of sounding like a stuck record - Mumford & Sons, Ipswich Regent Theatre. 23rd November. Only problem is it's in a theatre and therefore all tickets are "seated" which is a bit shit. Slightly disappointed, because a couple of days later they added the FM Arena in Nottingham to the tour dates and I'd much rather have gone to see them there.

On a side note I see the scalpers are in full force on this one. Average sale price on seatwave is £108. Face value was £23.50 I think.

Mumford is the type of group i'd like to see playing down my local while i sit pished beside the open fire. Don't think i'd enjoy seeing them in a large concert venue.
