NS, my friend gave me back a wii which i modded for him ages ago.
the newer games wont play...derrr

what would be the best method to get this wii back to up to date

Grab a copy of ModMii for the Wii and go through the wizards. Then:
1. Update your Homebrew Channel.
2. Use Modmii to grab the new cIOS files and a WAD Manager for the Wii.
3. Use Modmii to grab an updated loader.
4. Copy the ModMii downloads to your SD card.
5. Install the updated WADs.
6. Configure the updated loader.

You could also use ModMii to grab a System Menu update, just ensure you install the IOS WADs before you install the System Menu, especially IOS80.

My girlfriend's daughter has somehow managed to put the wrong password into her ipod ten fuckin times and now it's locked.
It says ipod is disabled on the ipod and when i try to connect to itunes it says "itunes cannot connect to the ipod because it is locked with a passcode"

I could restore the phone but she hasn't backed it up and would lose all her photos and stuff.

Is there a way to get everything off it and then restore or is there a way to un disable it?

i have 2 gmail accts and 2 youtube accts...i have one gmail linked to a youtube acct...is it possible to switch gmail addresses associated with youtube accts still?...the only guidelines i found are out of date and no longer work

The ipodtouchunlocker link asked me for my phone number so I put in a false one. Then it says use code sent to your phone.
Looks like i'll need to restore it.

Yep. I had to go digging through Google Dashboard then into Youtube and it's advanced account settings but you can unlink accounts (and therefore presumably link to another) here: http://www.youtube.com/my_account_unlink

I thought you needed to open Device Manager, find out the manufacturer and then got to each one's website to download the drivers? I was looking for something that would do all that for you. Windows can't do it can it?
