What is with this IRC button thing?, if people really want there films they will spend time and find them, like what i did!, now you have just really gave them the films, it like saying "right children you have a maths test and here are the answers,?, just don't make sense, i think people should find there films themself, everyone has to start from somewhere like the SUN had to, they found a copy of spiderman 2 and downloaded.
Thats another thing, you will do nothin to the SUN because they download the films, they will say they are just proving a point, they can download the film and not get court be we download the film and it a prison sentence just for one film?:mad:

I don't like it either. There's always been links to search usenet and irc on the release info pages, and there's a section in the FAQ on usenet, which kind of go against vcdq being a news site only.

But I have no idea how much it costs to maintain this site and how much is received in donations, so if having these links goes some way to reducing the deficit than I have no problem with them being there.

I don't like the button, however I do use IRC (and likely xdcc sometimes), but I don't usually use these search engines. So fuck me for not liking it I won't use it.

I personally don't see it as a good idea, it just basically tells every Tom, Dick and Harry where to get the goods and brings unwanted heat onto everyone.
