18th Oct 2012 - More site updates and fixes!
2012-10-15 18:11:52
Just a word on some recent site changes:
You might have noticed that the colour scheme has been reset on the site. This is due to some changes that have been made to the homepage. You can use the Colour Picker at the top-right to select one of the pre-defined themes or create your own. To get VCDQ back to how you like it. The date field has also returned! That was never intentional, it went "awol" during a code update. The search is fixed and sexy! Go on, try it... See? Basic usage is: "dog" - would search for anything with the word "dog" anywhere in the title "^dog" - would search for anything BEGINNING with "dog" "dog | cat" - would search for anything containing "dog" OR "cat" It also supports IMDB title ID matching now so if a movie is foreign or released with different names in different regions and you can't find it on VCDQ - just drop the IMDB title ID into the search (the "tt1234567" value in IMDB addresses) and VOILA! There's other code updates going off in the upcoming days and weeks so if you get any quirks when you visit the site, press CTRL+F5 and try again. If you're still having problems, drop by the forum or IRC channel and we'll see what we can do :) Comments

You also managed to mess up the format in RSS feed.
"10-19 2012" is not valid pubDate. Sun, 19 May 2002 15:21:36 GMT is valid date(r) with php should post a valid dateformat for rss feeds. ^I've just tested RSS in Google Reader without issues. Can you be more specific or post the URL for your RSS feed and we'll take a look?
Thanks. We've now also fixed the filters so the custom filters are working properly again :)
Either use the pre-built filters or create your own by clicking the column headers and selecting your filters. Filters have never worked properly since the site overhaul, and are now at their worst. Filtered results do not reflect the filter options that were selected.
^Yep. Something funky has crept in, the dev is aware. We'll have it sorted soon.
